Christmas in a Small Town

I love living in a small town!  The first Friday in December we all gather in front of the court house and one of the churches on Main Street leads us all in Christmas carols and hymns before the lighting of the Christmas tree!  They serve cookies and hot chocolate, and Santa and Mrs. Claus come to celebrate with us!  It is a fun start to the Christmas season.

The following day is the Christmas parade!  Emily had her first Upward Cheerleading practice, but I took the boys to the parade.  Caleb's favorite was the "punch bug!"

And Parker just seemed to enjoy hanging out with Caleb:)

P.S. Don't feel bad for Em that she missed the parade...my parents took her to see The Nutcracker that night (an annual tradition) followed by milkshakes at Steak-N-Shake!
