Bye Bye Paci's

We have taken a HUGE step in our house tonight! You may think that the huge step was getting rid of Parker's paci, but you would be wrong. His was a piece of cake, but Caleb on the other hand...
It all started because Parker has a teething rash that keeps getting irritated by his pacifier. So, I decided it was time to be done with it. Emily found an old paci of hers in a pocket of the stroller, and decided she and Parker should mail their paci's to Santa for some other children to have for Christmas. (Em got rid of her paci when she was 18 months old when I, um, well, cut the tip of it off...it was a long week for us all, but then she was done.) Caleb, my spoiled middle child, still has his at 2 1/2! He LOVES LOVES LOVES it, but only at naptime and nighttime. Anyway, he jumped on board and mailed his too. They all went into Santa's mailbox that stands on Main Street with a note for Santa to pass them along to a new baby somewhere. So far my boys are sleeping and not a peep...this is too good to be true!
