Right after Christmas poor little Caleb was scheduled to get his tonsils out...now all 3 of our kids have had tubes and adenoids, and 2 out of 3 are without tonsils! He was such a trooper and has recovered so quickly! Emily was close to 5 when she had her surgery, but Caleb is only 3 1/2, so we weren't sure if it would be better or worse. Coming out of the anesthesia was hard for him. He was coughing and hurting and scared, but as soon as we got the Curious George movie on (thanks Christy) he was able to focus and calm down. He was eating pancakes and drinking milkshakes that afternoon! He has been super spoiled the last few weeks, and he is getting a little tired of all the soft foods. He is anxious to go see Dr. Mixson again so he can eat some chips!
